Hi, I'm Donnie Welch.

I run poetry workshops that are inclusive and accessible for students of all abilities.

These workshops are based on the idea that movement skills and sensory integration go hand-in-hand with literacy learning; that movement helps us understand rhythm, rhythm helps us understand poetry, and poetry helps us understand each other.

Implementing this curriculum doesn’t require an MFA in Poetry, expensive technology, or a large budget. All it requires is patience, flexibility, and a willingness to play with language.
